How does it differ from modular configuration?
The configurator selects a variant of one product. Modular configuration combines a main product with other products or accessories, retaining individual variants and quantities.
Can dimensions be changed arbitrarily?
Dimensions follow available product specifications and corresponding models. Arbitrary resizing and parametric manufacturing are not default capabilities.
Does a standalone link support purchase?
Standalone links and generic embeds support configuration and sharing. Purchase uses the Shopify adapter, with Shopify as the source for price and inventory.
Is a manufacturing BOM generated automatically?
Standard output is an option, variant and configuration summary. Manufacturing BOMs, CPQ and ERP/MES integrations require a separate assessment.
